Delhi Public School Patiala – Presented by Head Boy – Navroz Kumar & Head Girl – Tekshiv
A very warm and wonderful morning to all our distinguished guests! With immense pride and privilege, we, Navroz Kumar, Head Boy, and Tekshiv, Head Girl of Delhi Public School Patiala, extend a heartfelt welcome to our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr Baljot Singh Rathore, Inspector General of Police (GRP), our Guest of Honour for the occasion- Ms Shruti Bansal, Assistant Commissioner(C-GST), all special dignitaries, our respected management members, our guiding light-Principal Sir, our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and our dear fellow students.
Today, as we celebrate Anandotsav – the 13th Annual Day of DPS Patiala – we stand before you to present the Annual Report of the 2024–25 session. A session that has been filled with remarkable achievements, boundless creativity, and inspiring initiatives that have made us all proud.
Education remains the cornerstone of our institution, and this year, our students have once again proven their mettle with outstanding academic performances. The declaration of the CBSE Class X results marked a moment of immense pride for Delhi Public School Patiala. Our students achieved a remarkable 100% result, showcasing their dedication and hard work. Leading the pack was Anika Goyal, the school topper with an outstanding score of 96.8%. The second position was secured by Angel Garg with 95.6%, while Sana Verma stood third with an impressive 94.4%.
Moving to the CBSE Class XII results –In the Medical stream, Naveen Mittal secured the top position with 96.6%, followed closely by Inderpreet Singh with 95.6%. The Non-Medical stream was led by Raghav Aggarwal with excellent 96.2%, while Harsh Thapar stood second with 95%. Prabhnoor Kaur topped Humanities stream with 95.2%, followed by Rehmat Sekhon with 94.4%. And in the Commerce stream, Harleen Kaur led with an impressive 96.4%, with Nehmatjeet Kaur securing the second position with 93.4%.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Sukhmilan Singh of Class XI achieved remarkable success in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, India’s largest Science Talent Search Examination! Sukhmilan emerged as the District Champion with 1st place and also secured 2nd place at the State Level. This achievement is a testament to his scientific aptitude and dedication!
Moving on to sports – The students of Delhi Public School, Patiala have brought immense pride and a deep sense of achievement to the school through their stellar performances at the State and National levels, 250 of our promising sportspersons participated in the Zonal Level School Games across 17 disciplines, out of which 81 qualified for the District Level. We take immense pride in sharing that, among hundreds of participants, 22 of our students represented the school at the State Level, and 7 students further qualified for the National Level in cricket, archery, Roller hockey and football bringing great honour and recognition to Delhi Public School, Patiala.
Our sports enthusiasts showcased fine training & talent at the Inter School Sahodaya Sports Meets. The Boys U-17 Basketball Team clinched gold at the Inter-School Basketball Tournament organized by Patiala Sahodaya Association.
Ashmanvir Singh in the U-14 Boys category captured gold in both 100m and 200m races, earning the coveted Best Athlete (U-14 Boys) award in the Sahodaya Athletic Meet.
Aditi Saldi in the U-19 Girls category claimed gold in 100m and 200m, along with the Best Athlete (U-19 Girls) award – truly a champion! Rhythmpreet Kaur in the U-14 Girls category won silver in the 100m race.
Our 4x100m relay team won the first place in the U-14 Girls category, while the boys took second place in the U-14 Boys category, showcasing exceptional teamwork!

Moving on – We are filled with immense pride to share that Delhi Public School Patiala was honored with “The Eminence Award” at the Annual Cambridge Conference in Jalandhar on August 3, 2024 and our school was also certified as an Authorized Cambridge Exam Centre .
Dear audience, our bygone session witnessed our students excelling magnificently in the performing arts domain. Aahana of Class II brought immense pride to our school by securing first position in Kathak (Sub-Junior category) at the 36th All India Dance, Drama and Music Competition.. Rehmat Sandhu of Class V impressed audiences at both the Inter-School Dance Fest “Virasate-e-Sabhyachar” where she stood 3rd and at the 36th All India Dance, Drama and Music Competition where she won 2nd position in Junior Kathak.
Hitansh Singla of Class V showcased remarkable versatility by winning first place in Guitar and third place in Solo Folk Song at this national competition. Aryanveer Singh of Class IX secured second position in Solo Folk Song at the same prestigious national competition, making us all proud!
Harshit Garg of Class XI won High Commendation at Kaimera MUN (UNCSW) and Best Delegate at BIPS MUN 2024. Kanan Verma of Class XII earned verbal and special mentions at Kaimera and DPS Khanna MUNs, as well as Best Delegate at SMUN 2024.
Archita Sharma of Class X and Evelin Kaur of Class X won Best Delegate and Honorable Mention respectively at DPS Khanna MUN. Avni Arora of Class XI and Vinita Bimbra of Class IX received High Commendations at DPS Khanna. And our very own Navroz Kumar of Class XI excelled at SMUN 2024 as Best Delegate in UNCSW!
In literary competitions, our students showcased their linguistic prowess and cultural knowledge. Samreen Kaur Awal of Class IV won first position in poetry recitation at the English
fest hosted by DPS Bhatinda while Muskan Kerval of Class VIII claimed first position in declamation, demonstrating powerful oratory skills.
At the Inter DPS Punjabi Language Fest hosted by DPS Amritsar, Teg Mann Kaur of Class X and Guntaas Singh Sandhu of Class IX secured first positions in poem recitation and solo folk song, while Nehmatjeet Kaur, Gurnoor Kaur, and Keerat Singh bagged third position in the quiz competition. Aditi Saldi made us proud by clinching a bronze medal at the prestigious Inter DPS Open Swimming Competition held at the national level.
We are incredibly proud of Toshiv Kashyap of Class II Attainers who won the 3rd prize in the thematic Fancy Dress Competition at the Inter School Sahodaya Science Fest hosted by Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala! Anant Sifat Kaur of Class VIII for bagging the first prize for Slogan Writing in the Sahodaya Inter School Punjabi Festival hosted by Ganga International School. Our young shooter, Kulnoor Kaur of Class 6, won the Gold in the Sahodaya Inter School Shooting Competition hosted by The Indo British School, Nabha
The Saras Mela 2025 brought accolades with Inayat Kansal of Class V securing first position in painting, competing with 78 students from 29 schools . Amandeep Kaur and Kanchan of Class XI achieved first place in clay modelling. Aryanveer Singh Antal of Class IX earned second position in solo folk singing, bringing pride to DPS Patiala.
Now moving on to the Major Events and Celebrations. Our school calendar has been vibrant with celebrations and events that have enriched our learning experience. Allow us to take you through some of the highlights. Delhi Public School Patiala commenced its 12th academic session with great enthusiasm with the Investiture and Scholar Badge Ceremony on April 27, 2024, where the new School Council was inducted and meritorious students were honored for their academic excellence and exemplary attendance.
In August 2024, we successfully hosted the 2nd annual French Fest – “FRANCOPHILE FIESTA” – which witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading schools across the city.
Delhi Public School Patiala successfully organized the 4th edition of its Model United Nations Conference, DPSP MUN 2024.The two-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 283 delegates representing 29 schools across the region. Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Deputy Taxation Commissioner Patiala, graced the inaugural ceremony and commended our school’s initiative in fostering diplomatic discourse among young minds.
Delhi Public School, Patiala, hosted the 2nd Inter-School Sahodaya Athletic Meet 2024, uniting 26 schools and 445 athletes for a day of spirited competition. Distinguished sports dignitaries graced the occasion, inspiring young participants with their presence and words of encouragement.
Our Annual Winter Carnival – “DPS Kaleidoscope: A Tapestry of Tradition” on December 22, 2024, was a spectacular celebration of India’s diverse cultural heritage. The carnival featured four
regional zones, 101 vibrant stalls, mesmerizing cultural performances by 130 students, and a delightful baby show.
Confluencia – held on December 24, 2024 – saw our proud alumni return to their alma mater, reliving cherished memories and spending precious moments on our campus. It was truly heartwarming to welcome them home!
On January 25, 2025, DPS Patiala hosted TechFusion 2025, an inter-school IT fest with 13 schools participating. Students competed in IT events that encouraged innovation, problem-solving, and creative thinking while fostering camaraderie among participants.
Additionally, the Cambridge English Certificate Award Ceremony 2024–25 in February celebrated student excellence in language proficiency. The event was graced by Mr. Kirti Kumar, Exam Centre Head from Allen Language Institute, Ahmedabad, and Mrs. Hartej Kaur Bal, Retired Principal of Govt. Ripudaman College and Deputy Director of Higher Education Punjab.
And how can we forget the most emotional event of all? Delhi Public School Patiala’s Class XI students organized a memorable farewell – “ADIEU 2024-25” – on February 1, 2025, celebrating our outgoing Class XII batch, our 7th Batch, with cultural performances, a fashion walk, and heartfelt memories.

We take immense pride in sharing the remarkable academic accomplishments of our immediate seniors, the Batch of 2024–25, who have made DPS Patiala proud with their outstanding placements in some of India’s most reputed institutions. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire us.
Our medical achievers have secured admission to top medical colleges across the country — Naveen Mittal at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (Safdarjung Hospital), Pridhi at GGS Faridkot, Namah Manchanda at AIIMS Rishikesh, Prabhmannat Kaur Cheema at GMC Patiala, Aayush Kaura & Inderpreet Singh at AIIMS Mohali, Mehak Goswami at ESIC Medical College, Ludhiana, Shaurya Garg at AIIMS Bilaspur, and Shakshi Mittal at AIIMS Bathinda.
In the field of engineering, our school has continued its legacy of excellence with placements in the nation’s top technical institutes. Ajitesh Singh Bhullar and Harsh Thapar have made their mark at IIT Ropar, Akshat Jain at IIT Roorkee, Raghav Aggarwal at IIT Bombay, Ankit Joshi at IIT Gandhinagar, Ananya at IIIT Lucknow, and Divyam Garg at NIT Kurukshetra.
We proudly salute our seniors for setting such an inspiring benchmark of success.
As we reach the conclusion of this annual report, we reflect on what has truly been a remarkable journey. From sports arenas to cultural stages, from academic achievements to technological fests – every student’s success reflects their talent, hard work, and unwavering determination.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our visionary management – our Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Ramesh Talwar, our dynamic Director Mrs. Vandana Talwar, and our esteemed Executive Director Mr. Sahil Talwar. A special mention to our respected Principal Sir, Mr. Santosh Shukla, whose constant encouragement and innovative initiatives have opened new horizons for our personal and academic development.
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated teachers who have been our mentors, guides, and pillars of support throughout this journey. And to our supportive parents – your unwavering faith in us and your constant encouragement have been instrumental in shaping this year’s many achievements.
To our fellow students – you are the pride of DPS Patiala. Your achievements inspire us all to reach greater heights! As we conclude this report, we humbly seek the divine blessings of the Almighty for our distinguished guests and the entire DPS Patiala family.
